Dwayne Foster Appointed as New Full-Time Athletic Commissioner of the Washington  Catholic Athletic Conference 

Washington, DC – June 12, 2024 – The Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) is  proud to announce the appointment of Dwayne Foster as the new full-time Athletic  Commissioner. Foster, a seasoned leader with an extensive background in sports  administration, brings his vast experience and visionary leadership to the WCAC, marking an  exciting new chapter for the conference. 

Dwayne Foster's Background and Vision: 

Dwayne Foster, who embarked on his career in the WCAC over 20 years ago, brings a wealth of  experience to his role as Athletic Commissioner for this nationally renowned high school  conference. With an extensive background in high school and collegiate athletics, Foster  combines his business acumen and student-focused approach to be a valuable asset to the  WCAC. His career includes high-profile roles such as Chief Operating Officer, Orange County  Schools in Hillsborough, NC, Director of Athletics, District of Columbia Public Schools, and  Assistant Head Football Coach, Morgan State University. Foster has been instrumental in driving  both athletic and academic success, earning widespread respect in the sports community for his  dedication to student-athlete development and strategic program management.
